Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure that involves creating fine, superficial cuts in the skin. Therefore, there are certain categories of women who are not allowed or are advised against undergoing the procedure:

🚫 Strictly Not Allowed:

  • Pregnant women (especially during the first trimester)
  • Individuals with severe bleeding disorders or hemophilia
  • Those with wounds or active infections in the eyebrow area
  • Individuals with known severe allergies to tattoo pigments
  • Cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy
  • Those with active skin conditions on the face such as eczema or psoriasis in the eyebrow area

⚠️ Require Medical Approval Before the Procedure:

  • Diabetic patients (especially if uncontrolled)
  • Individuals taking blood thinners
  • Patients with autoimmune diseases
  • Those who recently had Botox or filler injections (it is recommended to wait at least two weeks)
  • Individuals prone to keloid scarring
  • Those who already have permanent eyebrow tattoos
  • Individuals who recently underwent deep chemical peels or laser treatments (wait 4–6 weeks)

1) Pre-Session Instructions (Before the Appointment Period)

  1. Stop plucking or removing eyebrow hair by any method at least one week before the session.
  2. Avoid direct sun exposure for two weeks prior to the session.
  3. Avoid facial peeling or deep cleansing treatments for two weeks before the session.
  4. Stop using Vitamin A products or retinol one month before the session.
  5. Do not exercise on the day of the session.
  6. Do not undergo Botox injections within three weeks prior to the session.
  7. Avoid taking Vitamin E supplements or fish oil one week before the session.

2) The Day Before / Same-Day Instructions

  1. Do not consume alcohol 24–48 hours before the session.
  2. Do not drink coffee at least two hours before the session.
  3. Do not take aspirin or ibuprofen within 24 hours before the session.

3) Microblading Procedure Steps

  1. The eyebrow shape is determined after cleaning the surrounding area.
  2. A numbing ointment is applied, which typically requires about 40 minutes to take effect.
  3. The appropriate pigment color is selected based on the natural eyebrow color and skin tone.
  4. The eyebrow area is measured approximately 10 minutes before removing the numbing cream, taking into account face shape and facial features.
  5. The microblading procedure begins.
  6. After completion, a final layer of pigment is applied to the brows and left for five minutes before being cleaned.

It is important to note that a follow-up session is usually required 3–4 weeks after the first session. During this session, any gaps are filled, and the final results are refined if needed.

The final shape and color of the eyebrows typically appear about 30 days after the first session.
